This cake was so much fun to make and once I started it I couldn’t stop until it was done! I made a lemon cake and filled it with a fresh blueberry filling made from blueberry purée and then topped with a vanilla mascarpone frosting. The drip is a simple white chocolate ganache dyed blue which was also used to write the lettering. I then topped it with fresh blueberries and used the leftover mascarpone to add little stars and edging details. This was a perfect combination of flavors and so delicious!
Note: this was Joe’s first time being around when I made a cake and his excitement in getting to help me was the best thing I’d ever seen!
